Bruno Cançado

Bruno Cançado's work reveals the relationship and intersection between sculpture and drawing, playing with their physicalities and materialities in order to test their limits. Using basic materials such as concrete, wood, brick, and charcoal, Cançado's works bear a minimalist sensiblity.

His work has been exhibited in museums and galleries throughout North and South America. In 2014, Cançado's was awarded with the ICCO-SPArte Bolsa Residência award at the 10th International Art Fair of São Paolo, and in 2012, his work was selected by Minc's Cultural Exchange and Diffusion Program to exhibit at Milepost 5 in Portland, Oregon.
