About Robert and Cortney Novogratz (The Novogratz)
Husband-and-wife team Cortney and Robert Novogratz are The Novogratz. Over twenty years, this hip, artsy couple has developed and designed many unique properties in Manhattan and beyond, rebuilding entire city blocks from the ground up and turning abandoned buildings into fabulous spaces. With a passion for mixing old and new, vintage and modern, the couple has developed a striking aesthetic that is entirely their own—all the while raising seven children in downtown New York. The subject of the hit HGTV show Home by Novogratz, now kicking off its second season this month, the design duo also plans to publish a follow-up to their worldwide best-selling book Downtown Chic this October, titled Home by Novogratz.
About The Collection
About A Few of Our Favorite Things
Art and interior design are intimately intertwined, and art plays a big role in every space that we design, as well as in our own home. Many of the artists in this collection are ones whose work we have hanging on our own walls, or have purchased for clients on our television show, "Home by Novogratz," on HGTV. As it happens, we had been collecting many of these artists long before Artspace debuted, and we were thrilled to learn about this great online source for collecting art. We truly feel that contemporary art is about to get more popular than ever in the culture at large, and Artspace is amazing because it makes the latest art accessible to so many people.
