Dave Lefner

Dave Lefner is a self-described old soul. Working mostly in linocut prints, his work reflects a time gone by in both method and subject. Heavily influenced by Picasso's series of linocuts from the 1950s and Stuart Davis' colorful, proto-pop interpretations of New York City, Lefner's prints are nostalgic homages to mid-century design, hearkening back to a day when American craftsmanship reigned supreme.

His work has been exhibited extensively throughout California, and has been collected by LACMA and the Lamont Gallery.
