Enne Boi

Enne Boi's paintings are characterized by bright colors and instinctive gestures, built with many layers of paint through an additive method. He has developed a personal practice, which combines painting with several media such as drawing, sculpture, printmaking and publishing. In 2010 he cofounded Collettivo F84 with five Italian artists: Nicolò Bruno, Gianluca Craca, Giulia Serafini and Cecilia Valagussa. In 2013 Enne Boi moved to Belgium and enrolled as a master student in Fine Arts at the Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten (KASK) of Gent; there he was mentored by Narcisse Tordoir and Hans Theys, and in 2014 during the KASK graduation, he was awarded with the 1st Prize of the Stitching René Bruynseraede—De Witte voor Multimediale Vormgeving.
