About The Artist

A veteran prop master, Jeila Gueramian creates light boxes characterized by lush textures, bright colors, and playful motifs. Finding inspiration in vintage and found objects, she seeks to create alternate worlds defined by imagination and exploration. In her work You Are Where You Are, Gueramian fabricated a fantastical, plush landscape, which the viewers can physically enter, engaging with the work as they become part of it.
