John Fraser

Chicago native John Fraser works primarily in drawing, painting, and sculpture. He often uses found objects and mixed-media to create his geometric artwork, which can be viewed as aesthetically minimalist with constructive and collage elements. Fraser explores the simple beauty of commonplace shapes keeping in mind the negative and positive space they inhabit.

Fraser has been awarded numerous Fellowships and Grants and his artwork is held in public and private collections worldwide. He is represented and exhibited internationally.
