Kim Beck makes art in a variety of mediums. Her drawings and sculptural installations of suburban landscapes have been exhibited widely at venues including the Walker Art Center, the Carnegie Museum of Art, Smack Mellon, Socrates Sculpture Park, and the Hallwalls Contemporary Art Center in Buffalo, New York. From March 2011 to January 2012, her sculptures resembling billboard scaffolding were exhibited on rooftops along the High Line in New York; a related project, The Sky Is the Limit, used skywriting planes to communicate such economically troubled storefront messages as "Last Chance" and "Everything Must Go."Read Less
