    About The Work

This print advertises Laurie Anderson's retrospective at the ICA Philadelphia in 1983. Anderson first gained recognition for her multidisciplinary approach to "live art" by challenging traditional conventions and creating works that used a combination of imagery, light, spoken words, music, and sound. Although operating at rock music's outer, experimental fringes, Laurie Anderson remains an influential and respected fine art figure as well.
