Lital Lev Cohen

An Israeli artist who grew up in London and was trained in the United States, Lital Lev Cohen creates abstract works that pull from various mythical, symbolic and scientific iconography. Carefully documenting and researching her process, Cohen collects, creates and arranges what she refers to as “fragments of her imagination.” Painting these assemblages of objects into surreal images, the artist connects and investigates each of her subjects.

Cohen has shown her works in a number of solo and group exhibitions worldwide including Tempo Rubato, Tel Aviv, Israel, Hezi Cohen Gallery, Tel-Aviv, MoCA, Shanghai, TODAY MUSEUM, Beijing, China, and Allenby Passage, Tel Aviv, Israel among others. From 2006-2007 she held a residency at Cat d’Art Artist Residency, Midi-Pyrenees, France.
