Luc Fuller Gallery Art

The work of American artist Luc Fuller explores cultural appropriation, symbolism and language through the merging of high and low. Incorporating a variety of media, Fuller plucks meaning from popular music, consumer products, and everyday objects such as clocks, plants, and cameras. Rhythm in particular plays an important role in Fuller’s work, whether it’s his series of Wu-Tang Clan inspired paintings, Standing Clocks, or music-inspired collaborations with composer Jonathan Sielaff of Golden Retriever.

Fuller has shown in a number of exhibitions internationally including solo and two person shows at OFG.XXX, Dallas, TX (Two Person Exhibition with Nicholas Gottlund) Rod Barton, Milan, London and Brussels, ACAPELLA, Naples, Italy, Multiplex, and In Flux Gallery, Portland. Group shows include Adams and Ollman, Portland, Johannes Vogt Gallery, New York, 68 Projects, Berlin, Germany, and the III Moscow International Biennale for Young Art, Moscow Museum of Modern Art, Moscow, Russia.
