Fragmented images of earthy, brown clouds contrast with the bright yellow and blue tones and dots in Weatherco. Ambiguous cloud formations could evoke a pleasant sunset or the looming aftermath of an atomic bomb. To make this solarplate print Lucy Winton used a special nonchemical developing technique and natural sunlight. She then added thick, pigmented gouache to create the ethereal blend of colors and shapes that form the composition.Read Less
