About The Artist

Founded in 2008 by Brett MacFadden & Scott Thorpe, this design
partnership and studio attacks a wide range of design projects,
putting emphasis on craftsmanship and a content-driven approach. Their belief is that good design can improve and clarify an object, so all completed works are smart and functional, while maintaining their signature minimalistic quality. The MacFadden & Thorpe motto, as provided by the artist Tucker Nichols, is: "We Make It Easy."

Prior to starting MacFadden & Thorpe, Brett MacFadden & Scott Thorpe sat next to each other for two years at Chronicle Books in San
Francisco.
