Meghan Boody

Meghan Boody tells stories about women who embark (or find themselves embroiled) in character-transforming quests. These mythic journeys are often perilous and lead to confrontation with dark forces that induce internal change. Fascinated with the mechanism of psychological transformation and the resistance it often provokes, Boody imagines her pictures as allegorical guidebooks or imprints of this process.

Known as a pioneer of Photoshop and digital imaging, her work has been exhibited at the Brooklyn Museum, the Rubin Museum, the Frist Center for the Visual Arts, and the Orlando Museum of Art.
