Galerie Eva Presenhuber recently opened its new location in the Diagonal building at the former Maag Areal in Zurich. Protected as a historical listed landmark, the typical 1900s industrial building Diagonal is situated next to the Prime Tower in Zurich's new urban area planned by Annette Gigon and Mike Guyer architects. The new spacious gallery—designed by Andreas Fuhrimann and Gabrielle Hächler architects—opened with a major exhibition by Austrian artist Franz West on April 14, 2011.
Galerie Eva Presenhuber's roster includes artists Doug Aitken, Martin Boyce, Joe Bradley, Valentin Carron, Trisha Donnelly, Urs Fischer, Peter Fischli / David Weiss, Douglas Gordon, Mark Handforth, Karen Kilimnik, Ugo Rondinone, Eva Rothschild, Jean-Frédéric Schnyder, Steven Shearer, Josh Smith, Oscar Tuazon, and Franz West, among other established artists.
