    About The Work

Paul Simonon, artist and bass player for punk band the Clash, created this edition to accompany his 2015 exhibition at ICA London, “Wot No Bike.” His love of leathers, military gear and stenciled slogans gave the Clash a political edge: they weren't just a band–they were guerrillas. Simonon describes the exhibition, which includes images of  jackets, boots, books, and biker paraphernalia, as “self-portraits through objects that belong to me.”
