    About The Work

Part of a new series of portraits developed by artist Pia Dehne, the subject in Without Title can be read as alien, as invisible being, or memory of a face in art history. Capturing and shifting the focus more towards mysticism and the realm of paranormal, where gods, spirits, and parallel universes escape the grip of scientific explanation, these ambiguous new portraits have a sense of humor, yet maintain the psychological edge Dehne has displayed in past work.
