Rebecca Graham's eerie photographs are infused with what she calls an air of "elegant corruption." She says, "My work is dedicated to those who are dependent on beauty in order to survive in modern society. Infused with influences from literature, decadent black humor and childhood mythologies, every image begins as a roughly drawn sketch. My background in painting, sculpture and set and costume design all come into play in this process of creating theatrical compositions that give evidence to a parallel life thinly, but decidedly walled against modern-day banalities."
