    About The Work

Ritesh Meshram's sculptures repurpose everyday objects, echoing his training in the theater by subverting typical forms into something slightly surreal. Here the artist has taken found objects and string to make an imaginary machine mounted on a plinth. The artist suspends reality by keeping the object's purposes mysterious.
