    About The Work

This photograph is from Robert and Shana ParkeHarrison's series Architect's Brother, their renowned compilation of works that investigate our tenuous relationship to the environment. The black-and-white photographs in the series present strange, highly constructed scenes starring a man in a suit attempting to mend the world around him. In The Clearing he is shown next to a huge mound of trash, holding an oversized rake to clean up the cluttered Earth.
