Santiago Pinyol

Colombian artist Santiago Pinyol creates abstract work that speaks evocatively of the act of producing art. His work takes the shape of blank frames with lines that cut across the negative space and form geometric patterns. Through this practice Pinyol explores form, pattern, architecture, and the conditions of exhibition.

Santiago Pinyol’s work has been widely exhibited in group and solo shows, including Museo Banco de La Republica, Bogota, Colombia, El Parche, Bogota, Colombia, Espacio OTR, Madrid, Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo, Madrid, and General Public, Berlin.
