About The Artist

Artist Scott Conarroe takes a more concrete versus cerebral approach to his photography, insisting on the logic of "aesthetic intelligence" and not just artistic rhetoric. Conarroe practices long exposure photography, deeming it more "truthful" because of its ability to capture more than one moment in time. He also finds it more spontaneous in some ways because of the chance involved in the development. Hailing from Canada, Conarroe has already exhibited in countless museums and galleries in his home country, as well as in the United States and the United Kingdom.
