Simon Mullan

Simon Mullan is a multi-media artist currently based in London. His practice ranges from video, performance, sculpture and painting; a diversity that also reflects his personal sojourns in Stockholm, Berlin and London. Raised in Vienna, Simon studied Transmedial Art at the University of Applied Arts, Vienna (2007) and Video Art at The Royal University College of Fine Art Stockholm (2009).


He contributes regularly to group shows, including the Off Biennale in Cairo (2015), Les Rencontres Internationales at the Centre Pompidou in Paris (2012) and the Dumbo Video Festival in New York (2010); as well as staging recent solo shows at Galerie Dittrich & Schlechtreim in Berlin (2016), Belmacz Gallery in London (2015) and Galerie Belenius Nordenhake in Stockholm (2014). Simon has previously appeared in group shows in Vienna at the 21er Haus (2003), MAK Museum of Applied Arts (2006), Kunsthalle Wien (2007) and Das Weisse Haus (2010).
