About #2086-A
Todd Hido's Untitled #2806-A depicts a suburban house photographed at night. Hido has produced this edition using a pigment-transfer dye process printed on German watercolor paper. The result is an image saturated in color that captures the dreamlike qualities of night.

Hido's photographs, which have appeared both in exhibition settings, and in publications such as the New York Times Magazine, are like voyeuristic glimpses into houses inhabited by haunted, lonely beings. Flushed with color and back lit, his compositions give us a glimpse into a spirit inhabited world that parallels our own.
An MFA graduate from the California College of Arts and Crafts, Hido has eight published monographs and is represented in public collections from one end of the country to the other, including SFMOMA, Museum of Fine Arts Boston, New Orleans Museum of Art, and the Art Institute of Chicago.Read Less
