Watie White melds his studio-based painting and printmaking practice with socially-engaged public works that bring together communities and organizations at the intersection of art and social change. Abandoned spaces serve as the site for most of White's public installations. Interweaving his imagery with conversation and contradictory points of view, he seeks to spark discourse amongst his audience.
