About The Work

The photographic image was transferred onto 18 separate lithographic limestones. The image (the artist’s grandmother) on each of the limestones was processed to allow for pulled impressions. The back of every limestone holds a unique image from the stone’s previous use in a ceramics factory. The artist’s signature is on the back of the stone in black.
