    About The Work

This new work from Adam Dant celebrates Burlington House, Piccadilly, home to the Royal Academy of Arts. Here, the building is seen being ‘discovered’ in a dramatic mountainous setting, its famous Courtyard transformed into a chessboard for complex plotting and play. The building and the Academy’s key historical characters appear as players in a game alongside Burlington Bertie and a man in the moon.
