Alasdair McLellan

British photographer Alasdair McLellan is best known for his work in the fashion industry and photographs of the ‘90s club scene in Leeds. His monograph Ultimate Clothing Company was published in 2013 and focuses on young men growing up in Northern England. His diverse range of projects includes documentation of the Changing of the Guards at Buckingham Palace as well as a series of photographs and videos of London-based skate gangs.


McLellan began his career in fashion photography at i-D magazine and since then has produced editorials and covers images for GQ Style, WSJ, The Gentlewoman, Fantastic Man, British Vogue, and Vogue Paris. His work has notably been exhibited at the ICA in London.
