Andre Williams

Andre Williams has been a member of Intoart, a London visual arts charity working with people with learning disabilities, since 2010. His work reflects his interest in graphic art and curious objects. Since joining the Intoart studio, Williams has developed a series of drawings of robots, fantastical dragons, and ritual masks. He has also applied his graphic drawing style and striking use of colour to screen print and painted laser cut wood reliefs. His collection of twenty-one drawings and sculptures feature newly imagined masks alongside the artist’s interpretation of masks that caught his attention from museum collections. Williams has developed projects working with Tate and V&A, sharing his practice through presentations of his work.
