Anna Molska

In the work of Warsaw-based Anna Molska, as the artist points out, “nothing is what it seems.” She is interested in the intersection of the abstract or idealized with tangible reality, and her films document the conceptual dissonance that results. In Tanagram(2006-07), for example, two Russian-speaking models are shown arranging geometrically shaped puzzle pieces in a wry allusion to Suprematism.
