Beejoir

Born in 1979, street artist Beejoir hails from humble beginnings in the South West of England. In 2007, Beejoir moved to Asia, and co-founded Souled Out Studios, one of the world's leading publishers and supporters of Street Art. Utilizing a variety of mediums including installation, sculpture, painting, spray painting and drawing, Beejoir's work seeks to depict and explore modern society and its consistent fluctuations. While traveling through Europe, Africa and Asia, Beejoir was struck by the stark contrasts between the wealthy and the poor, and his work wrestles with these notions of greed and self-indulgence in contrast with crippling poverty.

Beejoir has shown, curated and exhibited in over 70 solo and group shows across the world in some of the leading private galleries, institutions and auction houses, including Black Book Gallery, Reem Gallery, and Vertical Gallery. Beejoir now spends his time equally between Asia and Europe, producing his own work as well as advising and curating gallery shows for some of the leading artists in the street art movement.
