Catherine Zadeh

Jewelry designer Catherine Zadeah was born in Iran to an observant Jewish family.  They moved to Paris, where Zadeh grew up and attended school.  She now lives and works in New York City. Her business started when her husband asked her to design a ring for herself in 1988.  Noticing the elegant stacking ring she designed, a friend commissioned her to make another one. Soon she was creating custom jewelry for clients.  In 1995, she was asked to make men’s cufflinks and further developed her line to include men’s jewelry, which led to offering her work at Bergdorf Goodman and other high-end retailers.
