Clara Fialho is a New York-based artist. She received her BFA from the prestigious Cooper Union, on a full scholarship and had her first solo exhibition in Chelsea at age 22. Since then, she has been exhibiting extensively in group, two-person, and solo shows, throughout the country and abroad. Most recently, her work has been exhibited at Art Miami (2014), Art Silicon Valley San Francisco (2014), Scope New York and Scope Miami (2015).
She paints dreamlike abstract paintings that bring to mind earth, planets, humankind, animals, insects and stars. Color is key to her incredibly upbeat works. Bright and energizing hues of orange, yellow, blue embrace beauty and desire. Her work has been featured in numerous publications, including the cover of New York Spaces Magazine.
