Francisco Morales

​Artist Francisco Morales is concerned with conceptual and formal expositions, geometric primitivism, and organic simplicity. His subjects are often organic objects, zoomed into highlight the texture of water undulations, a stone’s surface, or tree bark. His medium is graphite, and his intricate sketchings are deceptively simple. This is demonstrated in his series “Concavos y Convexos,” “Obra Negra,” and “Mantos Eolicos,” as well as in his “Garments” works, detailing a folded dress shirt in graphite on wood.
