Jill Musnicki

Bridgehampton-born American artist Jill Musnicki works in a variety of media, including painting, photography and new media. Her pieces range in size and structure, but always take inspiration from her surrounding environment, including the water, forest and animals. In one recent project Musnicki accumulated footage from over four years of motion sensitive digital cameras, which she placed in strategic locations in the forest, into a film loop of over 150,000 images. What Comes Around II captures the comings and goings of deer, fox, rain, wind and other happenings of the New York State wilderness.

Her work has been exhibited at the Guild Hall Museum, East Hampton, NY, Sarah Nightingale Gallery, Watermill, NY, the Drawing Room, East Hampton, NY, The Society for the Arts, Religion, and Contemporary Culture, New York, NY, and Wall Space, New York, NY.
