João Trevisan
João Trevisan was born in 1986 in the city of Brasilia where he lives and works. He holds a bachelor's degree in law. His work explores issues related to matter, weight, lightness, tension, articulation and balance.
In 2018, he exhibited his second solo show, curated by artist Bené Fonteles at Galeria Decurators. He participated in the Brasilia Extemporânea exhibition curated by Ana Avellar, the 43rd Art Salon of Ribeirão Preto National Contemporary, and 46th Luiz Sacilotto Contemporary Art Salon, in Santo André. He exhibited at the Ouro Preto Art Foundation - FAOP de Ouro Preto / MG. In 2017 participated in the first Hall / Residence - Eixo do fora Nº 05, held in the city of Olhos d'Agua in the state of Goiás, with exhibition at the MUN - National Museum of the Republic - DF, with work acquired for the collection of the institution. In April 2017, he held his first solo exhibition entitled Gestural Structure, at the XXX Arte Contemporânea gallery, curated by Renato Lins. He has participated since 2014 in collective exhibitions, including: Ondeandaaonda I (2015), II (2016) both held at the MUN - National Museum of the Republic - DF, and Ondeandaaonda III (2018) held at the Renato Russo Cultural Space at 508 …
