Lorenzato

He is considered one of the most important personalities of the visual arts in the state of Minas Gerais. He was a scaffold builder, a poultry farmer, a painter of walls, and a plastic artist. In 1925, he went to the Royal Academy of Art at the Olympic Gallery, in Vicenza, Italy. He started to have exhibitions in the middle of the 1960s. He also participated in the Young Room, at Minas Tênis Clube in Belo Horizonte (1965); the Third Bratislava Triennial Exhibition in Czechoslovakia (now Slovakia) in 1973; the Petit Palais Exhibition in Paris (1975); the Instinct Art and Popular Creativity Event organized by the Brazilian Ministry for Education and Culture – MEC, in Rio de Janeiro (late 1970s); the 1st Visual Arts Event of the Clóvis Salgado Foundation, in Palace of Arts, in Belo Horizonte (1984) and the Popular Art Event of the Ministry for Education and Culture, Rio de Janeiro (1984).
