Malin Gabriella Nordin

While Malin Gabriella Nordin's works are seemingly abstract, they still manage to evoke viscerally familiar references. With a persistent fascination with natures both human and otherwise, Nordin's dynamic works in painting, illustration, sculpture, and installation are curious and emotive.  In terms of her practice, Nordin doesn’t adhere to limitations and rarely has a preconceived idea of how or when a piece will reach completion. She likens her practice to a game of “telephone” in which the work in question is constantly shifting in form and meaning during its progression. 

Nordin has exhibited extensively throughout the Nordic art scene, with recent solo shows at the Gallery Steinsland Berliner in Stockholm, Mini Galerie in Amsterdam, and Tag Team Studio in Bergen, Norway.
