Nathaniel Kramer

Nathaniel Kramer was born and raised in New York City, Nathaniel Kramer is a film director and director of photography. Nathaniel picked up his first camera at the age of twelve and began obsessively snapping pictures with his father's Nikkormat until his father noticed that the camera was missing from his closet and gave him a Kodak instant camera that had eight frames left in the magazine. A week later, his father's Hasselblad camera was missing.

By the time he was 25, Nathaniel’s was shooting campaigns for the likes of Gap, Rayban and Cover Girl. His editorial photographs have graced the pages of Vogue, Glamour, Elle, Marie Claire, and many other publications. Nathaniel also shoots fine art photographs that have been exhibited in galleries and featured in shelter magazines including Elle Decor.

In 2008, Nathaniel  turned his eye to working in motion: directing and shooting campaigns for Rent the Runway, Maybelline NY, Made On Grand, Maru, OCA, Tarte, Kisskill Lingerie,  e.l.f., Smashbox, Splendid, Elena Miro and many others. Besides fashion and beauty work, Nathaniel is an award winning documentary director. Two of his docs, A Long Haul, and Where Have All The Mermaids Gone?, have been official selections at over 25 film festivals.
