Nicole Wittenberg

Nicole Wittenberg is an American figurative painter. The works of English figurative artist Jenny Sevile and the late Austrian expressionist Egon Schiele serve as inspirations to her work, as do the figurative sculptures of Michelangelo.

Her work has been exhibited at Colby College Museum of Art in Waterville, Freight and Volume Gallery in New York, and Masterworks Gallery in San Francisco, among others. She was awarded the American Academy of Arts and Letters coveted John Koch Award for best young figurative painter.
