Paul Fabozzi

Paul Fabozzi seeks to serve as a receptor, processor, visualizer, and locator of the cities and spaces we inhabit. Drawn to specific buildings as points of confluence, Fabozzi’s work is a visual record of his sensorial and mindful reconciliations with particular architectural spaces in a host of cities, including New York, Rome, and Istanbul. His work offers an opportunity to reflect on the ways in which bodily experience is overlaid at every turn with informational and mental pulsations. Paul Fabozzi’s paintings and works on paper have been included in numerous solo and group shows throughout the United States and Europe, including exhibitions in New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Rome, London, and Busan. His work is included in both private and public collections, including Frost Museum of Art, Munson Williams Proctor Arts Institute, Neuberger Museum of Art, The New York Public Library, NYU Langone Art Collection, Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art, and the San Diego Museum of Art. Awards include a 2005 fellowship from the New York Foundation for the Arts. He is currently Professor of Fine Arts at St. John’s University in New York City.
