Sarah McEneaney

American painter Sarah McEneaney works primarily in egg tempera, which she uses to achieve detailed brushwork and vibrant color in her autobiographical paintings. Finding inspiration in her home, studio, and neighborhood, her compositions depict scenes she encounters daily. McEneaney held a solo exhibition at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Philadelphia in 2004. She is the recipient of a Pew Fellowship in the Arts as well as a Painters & Sculptors Grant from the Joan Mitchell Foundation.
