Bruno Bisang

Bruno Bisang (b. 1952) grew up in Ascona, a small town in the Italian speaking part of Switzerland. When he was 19 he attended the School of Applied Arts for Photography in Zurich. Since 1979, Bruno Bisang has worked as a freelance photographer, in both the commercial and fine arts. Known for his ethereal, sensual photographs of iconic models and actresses including Claudia Schiffer, Tyra Banks, Iman Bowie, Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova, and Monica Belucci, Bisang's cinematic photographs are inspired by a deep passion for film, and a desire to capture the unique essence of each of his subjects. His work is an homage to the innate sensual beauty and mysticism of femininity. 


Bisang lives and works between Milan, New York, Zurichand Paris. He has worked for a number of major clients that include Cosmopolitan, GQ, Givenchy, Guerlain, and Hansgrohe, to name a few. His work has been exhibited in solo exhibitions at galleries across Europe, including Espace Picto Bastille Paris; Sudendorf Gallery in Cologne; Pandora Gallery in Marbella, Spain; Young Gallery in Brussels; Spohr Gallery in Cologne; The Little Black Gallery in London; and Camerawork in Hamburg.
