Clara Veiga

Through a collection of photographs Clara Veiga creates monochromatic pieces, usually, using ballpoint pens. In her work she uses paper as main support. The artist challenges herself to translate as many details as possible through careful observation. During her studies in Industrial Design, at PUC-Rio University, she participated in the Congress II SILID/I SIMAR (exhibition organized by the Arts & Design and Literature department). In 2012 she studied painting techniques on canvas at School of Visual Arts (EAV) of Parque Lage. The following year she participated in an exhibition at Deborah Colker Movement Center. In 2014 she was invited to a group exhibition in Italy that took place at the Palazzina Azzura institution.
