Thomas Liu Le Lann

Thomas Liu Le Lann is an artist who creates sculptures and installations using multiple techniques such as fabric, glass, wood, photography, poetry and found objects. His environments evoke his own life experiences through a logic of play, subversion and autofiction. Objects he invokes are reimagined, shift in scale, materials and often encounter "soft heroes", protagonists endowed with human manners who lasciviously inhabit his exhibitions.

His work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions, including CAPC Bordeaux; MAGCP, Cajarc; Fondation Pernod Ricard, Paris; Centre d’Art Contemporain d’Yverdon-les-Bains; Fondation BNP Paribas, Geneva; VIN VIN, Vienna; Galerie Xippas, Paris and Geneva; Maladie d’Amour, Grenoble; LUBOV, New York; Musée des Beaux-Arts, Le Locle; Mikro, Zürich; Extramentale, Arles. Thomas Liu Le Lann is also co-founder of Cherish, a project-space based in Geneva.
