Betsy Stirrat

New Orleans-born artist Betsy Stirratt is an artist, curator, and graphic designer whose clients have included the Pan American Games and IBM. She currently acts as the Director of the Grunwald Gallery of Art at Indiana University in Bloomington, where she has curated numerous exhibitions, and maintains an active artistic practice, creating and exhibiting her own paintings, objects, and books. Her formally varied paintings are linked through the artist's use of bold color and precise lines, ranging from the hard-edged abstraction of her Afterimage series to the organic forms of Super Natural. Stirratt's work has been exhibited at galleries and museums across the United States,
