    About The Work

Bob Henriques photographed Marilyn Monroe frequently during the height of her stardom in the 1950s. Here, the photographer captures her in a convertible at Ebbets Field, the once-home of the Brooklyn Dodgers that saw demolition in 1960, while promoting Some Like It Hot. Henriques preserves a piece of both film and New York City history in this humorous photograph, in which young sports fans stare at the glamorous Monroe.
