    About The Work

For his collaboration with LRRH_ Art Editions By, South African artist Cameron Platter printed his 2009 drawing Black Up That White Ass II onto a silk textile. Executed in the artist’s intentionally naive illustration style, the drawing is taken from his film of the same title, which opens with a seven minute “moving woodcut porno.” Created by sketching shot-for-shot a scene from the porno Big Wet Asses III, Platter says, “I’m updating and retelling stories that people have told forever, using things that I see happening every day around me.”
