10 x 10 x 10

Artspace is pleased to debut 10 x 10 x 10, a new initiative aimed at highlighting the programs of young and innovative galleries around the world through curated online exhibitions. Our inaugural presentation introduces a virtual collective of 10 galleries under 10 years old across the USA. Over the next four weeks, each gallery will present a rotating collection of cutting-edge artworks exclusive to Artspace.  All works featured are priced at $10K or under, in support of our mission to make collecting art accessible to a broader audience. The exhibition will be on view through July 16, 2020.

Participating galleries include: Baby Blue Gallery (Chicago, IL),  Carvalho Park (Brooklyn, NY),  Channel to Channel (Nashville, TN),  Davis Originals (Tempe, AZ),  Erin Cluley Gallery (Dallas, TX),  Et al. (San Francisco, CA),  LatchKey Gallery (New York, NY),  Resort (Baltimore, MD),  River (Los Angeles, CA) and SEASON (Seattle, WA).

RESORT is an artist run gallery in Baltimore, MD.  Founded in 2018, Resort is a new iteration of a curatorial collaboration between Seth Adelsberger and Alex Ebstein, who previously co-founded and ran Nudashank (2009 - 2013).  Resort is a project dedicated to exhibiting contemporary art and promoting collaboration.

SEASON opened in 2010 in the living room of Robert Yoder’s house with the aim of presenting intelligent work from artists at any stage in their career and working in any media.

"SEASON will celebrate ten years in October and I am proud to have shown artists from South Africa, England, Germany, Russia, Puerto Rico, and of course the US and especially Seattle. When I opened the space I wanted to bring international artists to Seattle and promote Seattle artists to the world. Having participated in many art fairs and several exchange shows, I feel the gallery has been very fortunate to work with so many amazing artists and I look forward to our future."

LatchKey Gallery

Michael Kondel, When Down is Up

Each with their unique curatorial approaches, come together to create experiences centered around emerging and mid career artists.

Carvalho Park

Carvalho Park BROOKLYN, NY

Visually distinctive programming features emerging artists reconsidering the distinctions between disciplines and expanding the language of form. A synthesis of the directors’ backgrounds in architecture and the performing arts, exhibitions work to activate the viewer’s environment and to shift context and categorization, allowing objects to move freely in and across the art and design landscapes.

Carvalho Park was co-founded by gallerist Jennifer Carvalho + architect//sculptor Se Yoon Park.

Et al.

Et al. is a gallery directed by Jackie Im, Aaron Harbour, and Kevin Krueger. The gallery serves as a site for exhibitions and experimental events, working with its select roster as well as other local and international artists, writers, and curators.  Et al. was founded in 2013 by Facundo Argañaraz, Im, and Harbour in the basement of Union Cleaners in San Francisco's Chinatown.  In 2017, Et al. opened its second location, Et al. etc., a storefront gallery in the Mission.

As a gallery, River operates on a non-traditional, carefully-constructed platform to represent local and international emerging artists. This model creates a much-needed space for mentorship in a transparent, honest, and familial incubator-style environment. River produces solo shows and streamlines the artist-gallery working dynamic. The gallery champions artists who exude positive values personally and professionally. As an alternative space, River contributes to the current arts dialogue in Los Angeles as it rapidly evolves. River's primary agenda is to function as a progressive commercial space in Los Angeles that specializes in the exhibition and sale of contemporary art via physical and online systems. The platform will also promote art and culture via alternative, non-commercial programming. Inspired by nature, River will carve out its own path.
