Danielle Ezzo

Danielle Ezzo is a photo-based artist interested in the mechanisms that create the photographic experience. In the past her work has explored the philosophical and historical underpinnings of 19th century processes and nostalgia in contemporary culture. Currently, her work exposes the invisible process of digital retouching. To her, the process of image-making itself is as exciting as the photograph's evidential components.

Her work has been exhibited nationally at such galleries as New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA), Brookyln, White Rabbit, New York, Galerie Protégé, New York, Daniel Cooney Fine Art, New York, Kat Kiernan Gallery, Virginia, as well as The Santa Barbara Museum of Art, Santa Barbara. In 2013 Ezzo was a NYFA Finalist in Photography.
