Helen Sear

Helen Sear’s work explores ideas of vision, touch and re-presentation of the nature of experience with particular reference to the human and animal body and her immediate environment in rural Wales and France.


Sear represented Wales at Venice Biennale in 2015 and has shown work in many international solo exhibitions, including Rencontres Internationales, Gaspésie Canada, Klompching Gallery, New York, Hoopers Gallery, London, Jyvaskyla, Finland, and Le Parvis, Tarbes, France, among others. She has works in many private and public collections including National Museum, Wales; The V&A, London and Arts Council of Wales.
